Ultimate Blog Party!

Well, I’m joining in (my first year) on the Ultimate Blog Party with 5 Minutes For Mom. I’m enjoying meeting new gals online and am look forward to meeting more.

What a change 50 years makes!

This is my intro post. For all of you who follow me already, this may be old hat. I am a homeschooling mother of 8 children with a passion for discipleship/mentoring women. My blog is all about mentoring. I share stories about my family, things I’ve learned following Jesus these past 35 years, homemaking, homeschooling, friendships, raising children, marriage, my failures and some just plain silliness!

I remember those 3 am times, up with crying babies or sick little ones and wishing I had an older woman I could talk to and have her soothe my aching heart and mind. Well, this blog is my way of BEING that older woman. I can’t come into your home, but via the internet, sharing my own stories is the next best thing!

So, this is what my blog journey is about; helping women in their walks with God to grow stronger in their marriages, parenting, friendships, and just their lives in general.

I host a link-up party every Tuesday called Loving Our Children. Come on over and join me for that!

Some of my favorite series are:

Before You Say 'I Do'

How I Met Your Father series

Beauty series

Guarding Our Heart - Keep It Secret, Keep it Safe

  2. Nice to meet you, Kate, but I’ve actually read some of your posts before, I’m pretty sure because your face looks familiar from some of the blog hops I frequent. But I’m making some rounds on the UBP list and thought I’d say hello! God bless your blog.
