A team of saints from our church has gone to Honduras to distribute food and Christmas gifts.
Please join me in prayer for them as they serve and minister to the physical needs and share the gospel to meet the spiritual needs of those in a small mountain community.
Father, thank You for keeping them safe in their travels. Give them a full and restful night’s sleep tonight, strengthen their bodies for the long treks up and down the mountain carrying food and gifts. Unite their hearts with one another and set their focus on You, to walk in the power of Your Spirit and to be quick to sacrifice their comfort and wants for the sake of those around them. Give them a sensitivity to notice who is open to the gospel and give them the words to say (even with the language barriers) that will be words of hope and freedom and deliverance. Thank You for the opportunity to lift them in prayer, in Jesus’ precious and powerful name.
