Wedding planning take organization – and creativity! Well, anything about organization is a step of faith for me! I have many friends who are naturally organized and I admire them so much. Then I also have friends who are naturally creative. Sometimes they overlap – those gals who are BOTH organized and creative are kind of like from another planet to me! I, on the other hand, possess neither a natural flare for order or an innate creative style. I can copy things but I cannot come up with my own ideas.
I guess Pinterest was created for me! Too bad I’m not organized enough to figure it out!
For me, right now in my life, the biggest struggle I’m walking through is being organized in my mind. There might be some gals out there who can identify. So I’m going to share a little video to let you understand the life I seem to be leading these days (months, years) and why I don’t think it is a good idea for women my age to help with weddings!

Oh, yes, I can so relate!!! Add health-related brain fog issues to that and, oh, my! My solution right now is my “brain dump” notebook, where I write down ABSOLUTELY everything I need to do, down to the tiniest detail. Every time I stop doing something, I look at the list and decide what needs to come next. It’s been a lifesaver!
I am so glad you mentioned the notebook. I keep thinking I should do that and then promptly FORGET IT!!! 😀
What is good … what is best. Thanks for sharing, encouraging and teaching us to go for it …
Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don’t mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip onto goodness.

Thank you for coming by, Sarah! I’m delighted to get to know you and please, hang out and visit often!!
Girl, you had me roaring at the video. That’s me (without the British accent).
My daughter was married March 2, so we just went through all this. Wishing your family much joy (and energy) as you fly through these busy days.
Thanks, Elizabeth! I hear you about the video! 😀
I wish I could remember what I was going to write…
Mary, YOU ARE CRACKING ME UP!!!
I meant to watch your video, but the phone rang. I couldn’t find the phone, but I did find the book I put aside this morning when I realized I had to leave for work. And now I can’t remember what I was meaning to do tonight when I opened my laptop to read your blog. It’s time for bed. Goodnight!
LOL!
