Dear Friends,
This is a week that Americans give thanks. Unfortunately, it is too often a time that we get caught up in stress – the stress of the beginning of a busy holiday season. As we sit down with loved ones (and some times not so loved ones) and enjoy the bounty God has provided, let us each spend some time giving thanks to the One who gave us the Greatest Gift.
I am thankful for so many things.
- a wonderful husband who loves and cherishes me as God has called him to
- great and loving children who enjoy being part of our quirky family
- terrific and very caring & giving siblings and in-laws, nieces & nephews
- a loving church family
- shelter and food
- jobs and provision
- laughter and love to fill my life with excitement and joy
- humor to see God’s delight in every step of the journey
And, of course, all of these things are gifts from my precious Lord.
His love is made manifest in my life through these sweet blessings every day.
His grace is poured out with blessings beyond my imagination.
His salvation is given freely so that I may join the heavenly throng in singing His praises.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

Hi Terri,
Great minds!! 😀 It’s always good to be reminded, isn’t it?! Blessings to you, dear Terri!
Love and hugs, my sweet friend,
Kate
Hi, Kate! I just found you and your linkup late last night and joined #143 — I didn’t realize it was not the current party. Sorry! I hope it is okay that I add the same links to this party; feel free to delete them if you need to. I am looking forward to getting to know and the others that share here. Have a beautiful Thanksgiving!
Welcome Wendy! I have no rules for my link-ups, so not a problem to post the same link twice (or more). I’m so glad you found me and looking forward to getting to know you and sharing my sweet little community with you! Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes and I share the same blessing to you and your house!
Kate
Yes, indeed, we have much to be thankful for!! Sometimes the stress of this holiday season can be overwhelming. But it’s good to stop and ponder the many wonderful gifts God has given us. Not the least of which is The Gift, our dear Savior Jesus! Gratitude is a choice we make, choosing to refocus on the good and lovely. I join you in celebrating my blessings, and giving heartfelt thanks for each and every one.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! May it be filled with faith, family, friends, fellowship…OK, and lots and lots of food!
GOD BLESS!
Good words, Sharon!!! I love your reminder that gratitude is a choice. I’ll absolutely take your blessings and hand one back to you! Have a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving, dear sister!
