I trust that you all had a very blessed Thanksgiving and that, no matter what your circumstances, you were able to find things to be thankful for! I’m very thankful for a fantastic husband who is my biggest support. He is always there for me, even when he doesn’t understand me (:D ) and he helps me in every way, he gives me opportunities to minister wherever God leads and he gives me grace in the midst of my huge flaws and failures.
After a very busy 3 weeks, I’m trying to get any semblance of order back into my life and into my blogging! So here is my very small frugal tip for this week.
In the various places I’ve lived in over the years, I find that December is the month when baking supplies go on really good sale! So, I try and set aside $20-30 in the months before this to stock up for the year! Even if you don’t do tons of holiday baking, it is still the time to be watching for those sales and snatching things up for your pantry for the months to come. Being able to make some chocolate chip cookies on that dark dreary February morning without having to go out for supplies is a great moral booster! So be watching those store flyers for super sales.
