16 Days of Gift Making – Day 2

Week 2 of Christmas gift making has me already starting on my Christmas gifts! I’m very excited. This week I made one gift (but I can’t tell you what it is because a family member might see it) and have gotten an idea for a few others. Actually, it will be several versions of the same gift for several different relatives.

16 days of giftmaking

I was really hoping others would share their ideas in the link-ups. I’m such a TERRIBLE surfer of ideas — Pinterest overwhelms me so I never look there. So if YOU have an idea of something you made yourself (and maybe blogged about) or you find a lovely DIY gift tutorial online, please link it up. I’m good at gift making, but not so great at gift ideas!

And if you are following along and using these 16 weeks to get a jump on your Christmas gift making, share in the comments what you are making (because it is unlikely that YOUR relatives are reading my blog! 😀 )

Wouldn’t it be absolutely MARVELOUS if all of our gifts were made and paid for, wrapped and packaged before Thanksgiving? That’s my goal with this series. Hopefully by next week I’ll have 3 more gifts made – at least that’s the plan! So, get those idea juices flowing and share your ideas.

I’m linking up with these lovely blogs.

  1. I wrote a post for Katharine on this subject, let me go find the link address and I’ll put it up here! I’m feeling pretty free this year since we’re going on a trip rather than buying gifts this year! WOOT. No gift buying for me…though I may go into withdrawal because I LOVE creating lovely, one-of-a-kind gifts! 🙂

    • Thanks, Lani! I don’t know what was wrong with the code for the link-up. I fixed it and I entered the link you shared. Thanks for it! It looks fun. If you ever get lonely for gift-making, head on out to IL and give ME a hand! 😀
