Menu Planning Monday

Another tight week ahead. We seem to be having more of those than not, these days. It is a challenge to eat well and keep things UNDER budget. I’m very grateful for our motorized scooter which has saved us TONS of gas this summer! AND I’m blessed that I was able to get $.50 off per gallon at the pump when I filled up our 15 passenger van this week right when the gas prices fell to $3.39 for a day!!! God is so good.

So, I’m going to pray and I plan to see if God can enable me to stay right around $100 for our groceries this week. I remember when, 27 years ago, $100 was our MONTHLY budget!! Of course, that was also 8 children ago.
