Well, IT’S SPRING BREAK!!! I’m loving having my husband home. I feel so bad for women who dread having their husbands “underfoot”. The best time of my day (apart from my time with God) is when Kevin is home. We may not be talking or even in the same room, but just stopping by for a hug or a kiss or his smiling glance at me or a wink of his eye and I MELT! I love that, after more than 27 years, he still sends shivers up my spine. Oooh…I’m getting thrills just remembering and writing this!

I actually enjoy the time I get to spend with my husband too. We work together and have our days off together…it really is a blessing to enjoy spending time together after 30 years!
Oh I love hearing these stories of long marriages that are still filled with joy in one another’s company!! Thanks for sharing, Alida!!
Generally when I hear women complain about their husbands being there I take that as a cue to bombard heaven with prayers for their relationship. It breaks my heart to know that they aren’t getting the most out of God’s gift of marriage. So much joy that they are missing out on… I’m completeLy with you Kate. Just knowing Terry is in the house keeps makes my heart flutter.
Kristie, I hear you! And HOORAY for those fluttering hearts!!
