Are you struggling today? Do you feel buffeted, pushed down, pummeled? Is the enemy seeking to destroy your life and plunge your heart into despair and sorrow? Do you feel like there is no way out? Is your heart telling you all hope is gone?

I’m proclaiming the HOPE we have in Jesus!

Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who hope in the LORD. Ps 31:24

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness…Ps 33:18

For I hope in You, O LORD; You will answer, O Lord my God. Ps 38:15

And now, Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You. Ps 39:7

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. Ps 42:5

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. Ps 42:11

Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God. Ps 43:5

My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. Ps 62:5

Sustain me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope. Ps 119:116

God IS faithful. Does He show us His ways, the mystery of His mind? Not often. And DEFINITELY not the ways we want Him to.

I have not experienced the exact circumstances you have, but I have walked through the landmines the enemy has laid out for me and I am telling you today GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE GIVES US HOPE!

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive. Gen 50:20

Did you know that the Greek uses the same word for trial and temptation?

The things the enemy uses to try to toss us into sin and despair are the very things that GOD uses to teach us and test our faith. As God uses these situations in our lives to prune us, to rip the parts of our lives away that keep us fettered in our fleshly desires, He allows the pain and sorrow that goes with it. BUT, remember when Jesus grieved with Mary and Martha at the death of  their beloved brother and His dear friend? He used that suffering to proclaim the glory of God.

Every tear you shed, my dear friends, is used by God for His glory and to transform you into the image of His Son. I want to encourage you to REMEMBER that there IS hope – that hope is in Jesus.

Tonight I am praying for all of you dealing with the trials that are being thrown against you today. I pray that His strength and hope fill your hearts, that His angels minister to your spirits and that His healing hand touches your bodies as you look heavenward in hope.
