Christmas: 16 Days of Gift Making!

Well, we are now in August and Christmas is just around the corner. Granted it is wide corner, but if you are hoping to save money in your gift-giving by making your gifts from scratch, the time to start is NOW.

16 days of giftmaking

I will be hosting 16 weeks of gift making, starting next week and will run until the end of November. Since many of us have our families reading our blogs, we probably don’t want to share specific gifts we are making in our blogs. BUT I thought it would be really fun to share some GREAT ideas we find on the internet with one another! What a great way to build community than to learn from one another!

This 16 week link up will be for you to share ANY link(s) you find that is a great idea for a DIY gift for this Christmas (these could be posts from your blog from the past too). Pinterest will be a great resource for you to investigate. I don’t generally have much time for surfing the net but these Thursdays will be my time to check out the GREAT ideas of women around the world. The more the merrier – and spread the word!

So, brush off your cyberboards, get surfing and share the cool, fun, beautiful and easy to make ideas you find. I’ll be looking for great ideas from your posts!!

I would love to see comments about gifts you’ve made or even How Many of How Many gifts are completed for you! Watch for it next Thursday, right here starting at midnight!!

I’m linking up with these lovely blogs.

I’m so bad at looking for things. I’m really relying on the good taste and energy of OTHERS to search for fun things and share them! I’m getting excited.

Hi Kate! I love to make Christmas ornaments. Also, Christmas cookies to put on a tray, and wrap with cellophane.

Loved the line about Christmas being around the corner…a wide corner! Thank goodness!!

Hi Ceil! I used to make ornaments. That’s a great idea, I’d forgotten! Thanks. If you ever find some great tutorials for any, please link them up on Thursdays!
